During Wednesday’s episode of the hit CW show, Gladys brought the remaining Ghoulies and Gargoyles into the Serpents, Veronica agreed to help her dad to keep him out of the drug trade, and Josie and Archie continued to take their relationship to the next level.
Fans also got a glimpse into how extreme the cult-like Farm can be, and Archie had his first boxing match outside of juvie.

Alice says she had to sign stricter forms to join 23 Hour Fitness, a reference to the real-life 24 Hour Fitness.
Archie fights Randy Ronson in the ring.
In the Archie Comics’ series “Katy Keene,” Randy Von Ronson is a rival of Katy’s boxer boyfriend K.O. Kelly.
Cheryl mentions a “bottle of sparkling San Junipero water.”
San Junipero is a picture-perfect virtual beach town featured on an episode of “Black Mirror.” Back on season one, when Joaquin first left Riverdale, he boarded a bus to San Junipero.
Gladys is reading a magazine called Sophisticate.
The magazine looks a lot like an issue of Cosmopolitan. Cosmopolitan and sophisticated are synonyms.
Josie sings Tina Turner’s “We Don’t Need Another Hero (Thunderdome).”
The song is from the soundtrack to “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome,” which starred Tina Turner.
