American Swimmer Ricky Berens Gorged On This 4,000-Calorie McDonald's Meal After Winning Gold

Ricky Berens celebrated team USA’s gold medal win in the 4×200-meter men’s relay — helping teammate Michael Phelps break the record for the most career medals in Olympic history with 19 — by gorging on a giant McDonald’s meal. How American!

If you recall, the fast-food giant built the world’s biggest McDonald’s restaurant in East London for the the 2012 games.

After the swim Berens tweeted a photo of a tray loaded with greasy McDonald’s goodness:

Finally!!!! The end of season celebration dinner! McDonald’s!! Yes all for me! http://say.ly/dDN3SJg

By the looks of it, there appears to be two Quarter Pounders (with cheese), a Big Mac, two small french fries, a six-piece chicken nugget and a sundae topped with some kind of chocolate candy.

After consulting McDonald’s nutrition menu we guestimate this epic order comes in around 4,000 calories.
