A notorious designer included human backpacks in his latest Paris fashion show

Designer Rick Owens had an interesting take on accessories for his Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection in Paris.

Owens told Women’s Wear Daily that it was all about “women carrying women,” adding that he had specifically recruited gymnasts and dancers for the task.

Owens said he wanted to 'portray the acts of supporting, cradling, even giving birth,' according to WWD.

In case that last reference escaped you, Rick Owens made waves earlier this year when he sent a handful of his male models down the runway with their genetalia exposed.
