March Retail Sales Slide To 0.4%

Fairly decent, but down from 1.1% last month.Retail sales for March came in at 0.4%, which is lower than last month, and slightly below expectations, but… Ex-Auto the number was 0.8%, and even ex-gas it was up 0.6%, which is not that bad.

Stocks were higher before the number, and are still higher.
