Rasheed Wallace officially signed with the Knicks today.With the addition, the Knicks become the oldest team in NBA history, according to the WSJ.
Even though he’s 38, Wallace is just the fourth-oldest player on the team behind Jason Kidd, Kurt Thomas, and Marcus Camby.
We took a look at the fourth-oldest players on every other NBA team, and found that no team even comes close to having the age (experience?) that the Knicks have. Rasheed is five years older than any “fourth-oldest player” on any other NBA team. He’s 8 years older than the median age for “fourth-oldest” guys around the league.
In short: No other team in the NBA has multiple players that are that old.
