Australian insurance company Budget Direct has released a new interactive which shows you which Australian airlines are always running late.
The Destination Delayed online tool was compiled from 2015 flight data from the Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE) and maps the amount of delays each airline has experienced from 2004.
Leading the way for the most delays was low-cost airline Jetstar with 21.51% of its flights delayed on average in 2015. Behind this was Tigerair, with 13.87% of its flights delayed.
Virgin Australia was found to be the most punctual with 9.56% of its flights delayed in 2015.
Jetstar also had the most cancellations (2.3%) followed by Virgin Australia (1.52%).
The interactive also compares the reliability of airports nationwide to see which ones experienced the the most late departures.
Of the major airports, Sydney led the way with 16.05% of flights delayed with Melbourne following closely behind at 16%.
