Superstar producer Jason Blum, who has been behind hit movies like Jordan Peele’s “Get Out” and last year’s “Halloween,” is developing a movie about the dramatic rise and fall of WeWork and its former CEO Adam Neumann.

Charles Randolph will write the script for the studio Universal and Blum’s production company, Blumhouse Productions. Randolph won the best adapted screenplay Oscar for 2015’s “The Big Short” and wrote the upcoming Fox News drama “Bombshell,” which hits theatres this month.

The movie will be based on the Fast Company senior contributing writer Katrina Brooker’s reporting and her upcoming book on the company and Neumann.

Blum is known for hit horror movies, but also produced the Oscar winners “Whiplash” and “BlacKkKlansman.” Blumhouse was also behind Showtime’s limited series “The Loudest Voice,” about the downfall of Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, who died in 2017.

Business Insider is also partnering with Campfire to make a documentary about WeWork.
