Earlier this morning on CNN Anderson Cooper reported that he and his group had been chased by a pro-Mubarek mob and that he’d benn punched 10 times in the head.

Just now he told CNN that there was no “rhyme or reason to it…just people looking for a fight” who attempted to grab the camera from their hands.

Last night CNN’s temporary office in Cairo was surrounded by pro-Mubarak forces who chanted below the balcony and threw rocks.

NBC’s Richard Engel was on Morning Joe a short time ago and told Joe and Mika that it’s become dangerous for journalists on the ground in Cairo.

He notes that pro-Mubarak forces have been chasing journalists from the streets.
