Gracing this year’s Forbes Magazine’s “The World’s Billionaires List” are more than 30 hedge fund managers.
This year, we have some new-comers to the list such as Greenlight Capital’s David Einhorn, Third Point’s Dan Loeb and Tiger Global’s Chase Coleman.
Meanwhile, some hedge fund heavy hitters such as John Paulson and Phil Falcone fell in the rankings.
We’ve compiled the hedge funders and compared their 2012 rank and net worth with the previous year’s list.
Net-worth: $1.6 billion
Previous Rank/ Net-worth: 879/ $1.4 billion
Hedge Fund: GLG Partners (sold to UK-based Man Group for $1.6 billion in October 2010)
