In 1900, nobody knew what to expect in the year 2000.With rapid industrialisation, the world was on a fast-track to producing some of the most daring, creative, and state-of-the-art technology ever invented.

But apart from an educated guess, nobody could have predicted how progressive online technology and digital platforms would transform the world we live in today.

Still, artists of the era drew up some fascinating ideas depicting what the future could have looked like at the turn of the 21st century.

The drawings were apparently designed by Hildebrands, a renowned German chocolate company at the time.
