Portuguese Downgrade, or Casey Anthony Acquittal, What Will CNBC Blame Lower Stock Prices On This Week?

So the not guilty verdict has now left the mainstream media with nothing to talk about and few distractions left to keep the investing sheeple from ignoring the longer term solvency issues of countries like Greece, Italy, Spain, Japan, and the US.

We at Hedgephone are agnostic as to market direction right now and think that cash/gold/Canadian dollars as a mix look OK here for now as we typically do not buy 5.5% low volume 5 day rallies… I read an interesting article by MadHedgeFundTrader in which he showed a picture of a cop in Greece who was lit on fire with a caption “this was your buy signal.” So true…

Clearly, we are in a bad news is good news and good news is bad news environment — well, everything is good news apparently these days, lol…
