Sony's Next PSP Won't Make It To The U.S. In Time For The Holidays

Sony’s next-generation PSP, the PlayStation Vita, won’t be released until 2012, missing this year’s holiday season in the U.S. and Europe, Bloomberg reports.Japan will get the Vita by the end of the year.

When Sony first unveiled the Vita, it said the system would be available in all markets in time for the holidays.

The news means Sony will be missing out on a huge opportunity to take advantage of the holiday console and video game sales this year.
