Some social media banter over the weekend between Qantas and Air New Zealand over the Rugby World Cup final eventually settled on a sensible bet.

The losing team would wear the jerseys of the winning team in the air on Monday.

And so it came to be, after the All Blacks defeated the Wallabies at Twickenham, that before today’s flight from Sydney to Auckland the Qantas crew accepted the black jerseys of the world champions, and wore them for the flight across the Tasman.
