CrowdTwist is a New York City-based loyalty company working with brands to reward fans across online, social and mobile channels. It connects to brands’ websites and Foursquare, Facebook and Twitter accounts, and keeps track of all fan/brand interaction. It then provides clients with metrics to track their most loyal promoters and helps them derive a social media ROI.

CrowdTwist recently raised a $6 million dollar round from Softbank Capital, Fairhaven Capital, kbs+p Ventures, Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, and a few angel investors. We wanted to check out their space to see what they are up to.

Co-founders Irving Fain, Michael Montero, and Josh Bowen have created an open floor office where some 15 employees work. Two other companies, Red Rover and Homefield, share the space, though one is moving upstairs soon as CrowdTwist continues to grow.

The CrowdTwist office is on E. 23rd St.

The office is buzzing with activity.

It was holiday season and they had some delicious home made cookies!

Paul Young (right, foreground) is the Front-end Developer at CrowdTwist. He has been with the company for two years, basically since they started. But until 6 weeks ago he was based in London.

Rosanna Tirrito is in Account Management and Client Relations. She has been with CrowdTwist for one year.

Earlier in the year, the company gave everyone in the office these great little remote controlled helicopters.

You can see the length of the office.

These great lamps sit on each desk.

They add some colour.

Even though it was getting on in the day, everyone was busy at work in the office.

They have a good time in the office. One night an unknown employee put this Hulk poster up with the face of their Data Analyst Josh Laurito. When he doesn't get his metrics let's just say he gets upset.

They make use of all their space, and site mock ups covered this board.

Adam (left) is the Marketing Director, Ruby (centre) is the Creative Director, and Tomer (left) is the Back-end Developer.

Adam Trisk is the Head of Marketing at CrowdTwist and just started recently. He explains CrowdTwist's services as powering the way businesses recognise and reward people based on the value they drive for a brand.

Ruby Manadero is the Creative Director, she is the number 4 member of the company after the three co-founders. Her work involves designing the site and the platform for clients so she often has to balance branding elements from both companies in her designs.

This meeting room at the end of the office provides space for smaller meetings and brainstorming sessions.

We even ventured into the bathroom when we saw this quirky sign.

It was a good idea, because it was one of the more interesting bathrooms we've seen.

The walls are covered in sayings and stories, some inspirational, but most just funny.

Words of wisdom from Oscar Wilde.

Bruce Lee packs a mean punch.

Even something from Alice in Wonderland.

Good words for any start-up.

In the back meeting room we saw CrowdTwist co-founder and CTO Michael Montero at work with his team.

Here is the final back room. Irving Fain is really into live music and has brought some of his own concert posters for the space.

This room is set up with a dry-erase wall for ideas during meetings.

They've got an awesome lava lamp on the table.

It looked pretty cool in the dark also.
