A packaging error on 28 lots of Pfizer produced birth control pills could lead to accidental pregnancies, according to the AP. Packages of birth control typically have 21 active pills and 7 inactive sugar pills. The AP reports that Pfizer discovered that “some packets of the drugs had too many active tablets, while others had too few.
