If you think your Google searches are the stuff of comedic gold, there’s a new extension for Chrome that’ll auto tweet everything you search for in Google. It’s called OverShareMe, an odd concept, but a very entertaining one. Everything you search for will still be anonymous and hidden by a hashtag.

Remember @oldmansearch

Some random guy claims he convinced his 80-something grandfather that Twitter was Google, therefore every silly thing the grandpa thought he was looking up was tweeted for the world to see.

There are some brilliantly hilarious searches there:

  • “presidents day free haircut for war veterans indianapolis”
  • “what else can you put to sleep?”
  • “alternate uses for the moon”

OverShareMe is a lot like that.

We imagine this to be hilarious during big events, like a nationally televised TV programming or breaking news, to see what people are curious about. But we also expect this to get over-curated quick with people purposely Googling scandalous words for cheap laughs.

If you’re wondering what people might be Googling in real life, head on over to @PlzOverShareMe and find out for yourself.
