An Orlando man and his mother have been forced to leave their home after the man was assigned George Zimmerman’s old cell phone number, the Orlando Sentinel reported.Junior Alexander Guy, 49, bought his first cell phone last month.
Little did he know the number, 407-435-2400, belonged to Zimmerman, the neighbourhood watchman accused of killing teenager Trayvon Martin.
The phone rang around the clock, with callers insulting and threatening Guy.
“I was not only afraid for my life, I was afraid for my mother’s,” he told the Sentinel. The two have moved out of the home they shared because of the threatening phone calls.
