The new Olympic torch design for the 2012 games in London has received a mixed review from British critics.
The Telegraph is currently asking readers if the torch looks like a cheesegrater, a cigarette holder, or a waste paper bin in an online poll (cheesegrater is in the lead at time of writing).
The aluminium design was created with 8,000 holes in it, each symbolizing one person who will run with the torch during its journey, and three sides that represent the 3 times the torch has been held in London, reports The Guardian.
London’s pics for 2012 mascots were labelled “creepy” by some.
