The non-violent demonstrators from the Occupy Wall Street movement taking place in Zuccotti Park in Manhattan’s Financial District now have their own newspaper.The first edition of the Occupied Wall Street Journal was available this weekend.

The self-published, self-funded newspaper features four-pages printed all printed in colour.

There are stories about personal experiences and others encouraging people to join the occupation.

The graphic says New York Unites! – Wednesday Oct. 5 – Student Walkouts, Union Marches, occupywallst.org, nystudentsrising.org

The cover story says that what's happening now on Wall Street is history in the making.

The graphic of the NYSE donning the corporate U.S. flag was created by AdBusters.

The Declaration of the Occupation is featured on page 3. It's the movement's first official release of the declaration.

There's also a neat map showing the setup at Zuccotti Park.
