See The Obese Mannequin That 'Horrified' People On Reddit

An obese mannequin went viral on Reddit after one user posted a photo with the caption “anyone else horrified they make obese mannequins now?” 

More than 200 people commented on the photo of the mannequin, though it’s not clear where it came from. 

While one user asked “when will fatness end?” others just criticised the design of the mannequin, because its head was too small for its body. 

Even though more than one-third of American adults are obese, retailers have been hesitant to use plus-sized models and mannequins. This could be because regardless of average weight, thin is still ideal in the U.S.
