President Barack Obama remained 4 percentage points ahead of Republican challenger Mitt Romney in the latest Gallup daily tracking poll, a poll that could be because of the potentially big shakeup from last night’s debate. Obama leads Romney 49 per cent to 45 per cent, the same lead he held yesterday.
However, the results will be an important barometer for the next few days, as this will be the last day before Gallup starts including polling after the debate in its rolling average.
Obama’s approval rating, which has swung pretty dramatically in recent weeks, jumped WAY up to 54 per cent. His disapproval rating dropped 2 points to 42 per cent.
