President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney officially closed the 2012 debate season Monday night, making one last pitch to millions of undecided voters during their third and final tete-a-tete.
Although the debate was supposed to focus on foreign policy issues, both candidates deviated widely from the topic in their concluding remarks, instead taking the opportunity to lay out a broad vision for their presidency in what was likely the last primetime televised appearance for both candidates before Election Day.
