A NYC subway train derailed and smashed into a wall Tuesday.
The Metropolitan Transit Authority confirmed on Twitter that a subway derailed at 125th street and that emergency responders were on scene. Three people are being treated for minor injuries, the AP reported.
Witnesses told Gothamist that the train was travelling between 135th street and 125th street when it began shaking violently. One passenger posted a photo of broken glass that he said was caused by the impact of the train hitting a wall.
The MTA did not immediately return Business Insider’s request for comment.
