NOT AN UPSET AT ALL: Allen & Co Finds Its Way Into The Facebook IPO

Herb Allen, president and CEO of Allen & Co

The bankers at Allen & Company – from Herb Allen and Nancy Peretsman on down – know everyone who matters, and usually find themselves in all the best deals as a result.

The Facebook IPO will be no different.

Earlier reports suggested Allen would not be one of the banks underwriting the deal, but the WSJ now reports the boutique investment bank has “made the cut.”

IFR says the other banks on the deal are: Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital, and JPMorgan.

Disclosure: Allen & Co. is an investor in Business Insider and we have a lot of friends there, so we’re not exactly objective about this. Way to go, Allen & Co!
