A Nokia exec spoke about the company’s upcoming products, adding fuel to rumours that a Windows 8 tablet is on the way.In an interview with the Financial Times (you need a subscription to read it), Nokia chairman Jorma Ollila said the company is working on new handsets and “hybrid” devices.

Here’s the full quote from Ollila when asked about future products from Nokia:

Tablets are an important one, so that is being looked into, and there will be different hybrids, different form factors [handset designs] in the future.

That seems to back up previous rumours that Nokia will release a Windows 8 tablet once the operating system is ready to go. As far as “hybrids” go, we’re guessing that either means a tablet/phone combination like Samsung’s Galaxy Note or a tablet/laptop convertible device.
