After a decade-long hiatus from music, No Doubt has finally announced on their website that they would be releasing their new album on September 25.
While the record is still untitled, fans can anticipate a “party-reggae blast track” entitled “Steady Down,” as well as a “ska-pop tune” track “One More Summer.”
This will be their first record since 2004 when Gwen, Tony, Adrian, and Tom decided to pursue solo projects. Most notably, the lead singer of the group, Gwen Stefani, began a solo singing career, where her album “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.” was released in November, 2004. The album later earned her a nomination for “Best Album of the Year” in 2006.
The mother of two went on to release another highly successful solo album, “The Sweet Escape,” which featured a more mature sounding Stefani on her tracks “4 In the Morning” and “Early Winter.” In 2004, the super mother of two also established a fashion line, L.A.M.B, and has been worn by celebrities, such as Paris Hilton, Nicole Kidman, and Cameron Diaz. Can’t wait until September?
