SPORTS CHART OF THE DAY: No School Produces More NFL Players Than The U (Of Miami)

The University of Miami has not won a national championship since 2001. And despite struggling to even draw a crowd to the games, “The U” is still churning out more NFL players than any other school.

Miami currently has 51 active players in the NFL this season, more than any other school. They are followed by two of the six SEC schools in the top 20, LSU (46) and Georgia (45). The two biggest surprises on the list may be Iowa (6th) and Cal (8th).

In all, 274 colleges are represented in the NFL this season, including such football powerhouses as Wisconsin-Whitewater, Northwood College, and Western Oregon…
