It’s the first time the NFL draft has ever aired on a weekday during primetime, and we don’t want you to miss out.The draft, which will again take place at Radio City Music Hall, was moved to primetime this year in order to capitalise on a recent splurge in interest.
The 2009 NFL draft reached an all-time high in viewership; 39 million people tuned in to watch last year, up 66% from 2001 when only 23.5 million people watched.
The first round of the Draft starts tonight (Thurs. April 22) at 7:30 p.m. ET. The second and third drafts begin Friday, April 23 at 6 p.m. ET, and the final rounds (four – seven) will take place Saturday at 10 a.m.
Here’s how you can watch:
- ESPN, the NFL Network, and CBS College Sports Network will each air the entire draft live
- The draft will be also be available live online at CBSSports.com and NFL.com
- And draft coverage including a real-time draft-tracker and live video feed, will also be available via NFL Mobile on Verizon Wireless
