New iPad

Apple introduced its new iPad today.(That’s what it’s called, by the way. It’s just “iPad.”)

The tablet goes on sale March 16, but Apple has a whole bunch of promotional stuff on its website now.

We put together some of the best for you to look at.

Apple updated many of its popular apps for the new iPad.

Another look at the Retina Display.

Here's a look at the iPad 2's resolution versus the new iPad's resolution.

The high-resolution Retina Display is perfect for gaming.

And gaming graphics are powered by this new, quad-core A5X chip.

iPhoto is now on iPhone and iPad. It lets you edit photos with a bunch of cool touch gestures.

iWork apps got updates too. Here's Keynote.

The new iPad is technically thicker, but it's still thin and light enough to carry around with you.

It also has 4G LTE connectivity for Verizon and AT&T. That means really fast data speeds.

There's a new dictation button on the keyboard. Tap it and you can talk to type.

The new iSight camera is 5 MP and shoots 1080p HD video.

The camera uses the same lens technology found in the iPhone 4S.
