Netflix let John Stamos prank its subscribers for April Fools' Day

In what is most certainly an April Fools’ Day prank, Netflix has let actor John Stamos completely take over your account.

The Stamos bonanza begins at the top, where Netflix has a trailer for a new Netflix original production called “Stamos: A Human, Being.”

In the trailer, Stamos recalls Netflix begging him to do the show. “Please, let us use your beloved brand to take Netflix to the next level,” he quotes. The alleged series, in which John Stamos plays his favourite role, John Stamos, is supposed to be released on April 31 (April has only 30 days).

Netflix continues the joke down your entire Netflix home page, renaming categories in honour of Stamos. An example: “Watch It Again Because John Stamos Thinks You Should.”

And this gem:

Stamos stars in the Netflix “Full House” reboot, “Fuller House,” which was released in February.
