NBA training camps went into full swing today, and all over the league coaches, players, and GMs are spouting one age-old cliche, “He’s in the best shape of his life.”It’s a simple, unfalsifiable statement that gives fans hope and implies a deep dedication to the game. It means very little, but boy do people love using it.
Here’s the definitive list of players who are in the best shape of the lives (!) right now.
Spoiler alert: they are mostly big-boned players who underachieved last year.
