Kobe Bryant’s scoring is up more than three points per game this season. But he is also playing 4.3 more minutes per game compared to last year. And in a season in which the NBA is shoehorning 66 games into a four month schedule, this may be a bad sign for the Lakers when the playoffs start.
A couple of weeks ago, we saw that LeBron James’ production is up despite playing fewer minutes than at any point in his career. That could go a long way towards making sure LeBron is fresh and able to dominate once the playoffs roll around.
