NASA has revised its estimate for the impact of its giant 6 1/2-ton climate probe.According to Space, the craft is expected to enter the atmosphere on September 23, a full day earlier than previously reported.
Originally launched in 1991, the dead satellite is the size of a city bus and had originally been forecast to enter the atmosphere between late September and early October.
The orbiter completed its mission in 2005.
