MyLife just launched a new Android app that lets users plug into multiple social networks like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter all in one place. The app also allows users to search more than 700 million profiles across all the networks and see who’s been searching for them too.
“The average person belongs to more than three social networks and will have downloaded more than 83 apps this year,” says MyLife CEO and founder Jeff Tinsley. His website and app pull in all major social media feeds and let users share across them with one post.
The app’s launch comes with a big marketing push. MyLife says it’s planning to spend $35 million in 2012 to promote its Personal Relationship Manager services; there will even be a national television campaign for the new app and website.
MyLife was founded in 2002. It has raised about $27 million in venture capital and has about 60 million users, 700,000 of whom pay for the service. It manages data for more than 1.2 billion searchable profiles.
