Movie producers, script writers, and directors have already pitched 17 scripts about DSK’s alleged rape of a hotel maid.
According to LeFigaro:
Since the “DSK affair” broke open the Cannes Film Festival, producers, writers and directors speak only of that. “Seventeen [scripts or pitches] have already been deposited at the Society of Authors Composers of Dramatic Works (SACD),” says Yves Boisset, director of Juge Fayard dit Le Sheriff. Mocky the iconoclast could make such a film.
And of course people in the French movie industry are already pooh-poohing the DSK Movie as déclassé.
This subject does not interest me. It is too early. The trial has not yet taken place,” said Boisset…
“Making a film today on DSK case would be morally unacceptable,” says Xavier Durringer, director of The Conquest.
Already being floated as the lead role: Gerard Depardieu.
