It’s a quiet day of trading, because it’s Christmas Eve.US futures are down across the board, to the tune of 0.5%.

The most likely “story”: Another weekend of talk about the Fiscal Cliff talks collapse.

Europe is half-closed. Spain, France, the UK, and Germany are basically flat.

There will be no economic data in the US today.
