Stocks Are Heading Lower In Europe, But...

canoe flipped

One day after that Merkozy press conference, where very little was announced, stocks are heading lower in Europe.

At least for now, the big indices haven’t totally fallen out of bed.

The DAX is off 0.8%.

Italy is down .25%.

France is actually higher.

And US futures, which had been down in futures trading Tuesday night are back closer to flat.

If flat is the new up, then arguably markets are up. Not horrible yet.
