Microsoft’s new laptop — the first laptop ever created by Microsoft — is really fast. How fast?
That might not look so exciting to you, but it should. That’s a 3GB file being transferred from a USB, and it’s incredibly fast. That’s especially meaningful in our modern era, where file sizes are ever-increasing and high-quality video can be shot from anyone’s phone.
Besides, anyone who’s ever edited video, or moved an archive of photos, or done any kind of file management knows that waiting for files to move from one medium to another is a tremendous waste of time. This has major applications in both backing up files and standard computer use. No more waiting for file transfers!
