Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter shot down recent concerns that Facebook’s growth is levelling off during an interview with Bloomberg West on Monday, by pointing out that Facebook has already saturated nearly three quarters of U.S. Internet users.
“We’re foolish to look at Facebook as a lack-of-growth story because they’ve saturated the U.S.,” Pachter said in the interview. “If you take that same 70% number – 70% of Internet users – and apply that globally, they go to 1.2 billion. So there’s plenty of room [for growth.]”
