Michael Meier of luxury real estate company The Meier Group at Rutenberg conducted a little experiment a couple of months ago. He hosted a very provocative photo shoot at a $3.9 million loft in Chelsea, hoping to create some buzz around the property. It’s now under contract.
Now, Meier is back with another sexy photo shoot and another video he hopes to use to sell a TriBeCa property in the former Baker’s Chocolate Factory. So naturally, chocolate was used in the photo shoot.
Meier hopes his racy ad, which will appear in Manhattan magazine, will sell 105 Hudson Street at its asking price of $2.795 million. The photo below is one of the non-published photos from the shoot that Meier gave exclusively to Business Insider.
So why does he do this, other than the notion that “sex sells?”
“We don’t sell homes, we sell lifestyles,” Meier told us. “People get a sneak peak of what their next home has in store for them when they watch our show [“Selling Higher with Michael Meier,” an online series]. With our show people are more easily stimulated to visualise the dream.”
Check out the ad and the clip, below. We’re not sure they will move houses, but they will definitely give people something to talk about.
