Michael Lewis was on Jon Stewart last night discussing his new book ‘Boomerang,’ which he describes as “financial disaster tourism.”
In the first segment he notes that Iceland is a perfect example of what happens when men get their hands on money: “It’s hard being a fisherman, it’s easy being an investment banker.” He goes on to point out the women have since taken over.
In the second segment he describes Greece as a society in “total moral collapse.”
“That’s why we visit them,” responded Stewart. Before noting “Europe has turned into this bizarre episode of the Sopranos.”
Both segments below.
