A Soccer Club Replaced The Names On Its Jerseys With Twitter Handles

“A magnificent goal by…@jacksonm9!” That could be the soccer call of tomorrow if Mexican Primera Division’s Jaguares’ latest promotion catches on. The Mexican club has replaced its players’ names on team jerseys with the player’s individual Twitter handles.

The jerseys are even printed using Twitter’s official font and teal-ish colour.

This comes less than a month after Valencia replaced their sponsor with the club’s Twitter account on the front of its jerseys.
