Menlo Ventures Investor: I Still Believe Facebook Will Be A $200 Billion Company In 5 Years

Shervin Pishevar, a managing director at Menlo Ventures, doubled down on his prediction that Facebook will be a $200 billion company within five years, despite the bumps in its IPO, during an interview with Bloomberg West on Thursday.

“When I said in five years, it would be a $200 billion company, I stand by that,” he said, referencing a prediction he made on Bloomberg West shortly before Facebook went public. “There are always glitches in the marketplace, glitches in the matrix. But that’s what it is, it’s a glitch, a temporary hiccup in the IPO process and mostly based on NASDAQ’s own problems with their software.”
