15 New York-style drinks and eats you can try in Melbourne

There’s no denying America has some of the most delicious food in the world, such as hot dogs and mac ‘n’ cheese, but sometimes it’s hard to come by in Australia, the land of meat pies and lamingtons.

Six of Melbourne’s most popular food and drink venues have created their version of New York’s most iconic dishes and cocktails for the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival as part of MEL&NYC, a program of events designed to strengthen the connection between Melbourne and New York.

They’re available for a fortnight between Friday, 27 July, and Sunday, 12 August.
