Floyd Mayweather Jr. has told the Nevada State Athletic Commission that he will fight Miguel Cotto on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated just tweeted.That means the Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight that everyone was hoping for is once again dead, for now.
Mayweather is currently at an NSAC hearing to renew his boxing licence.
Mayweather has been taunting Pacquiao on Twitter to fight him on May 5. But it looks like it was just some sort of cruel publicity move.
