Mashable founder and CEO Pete Cashmore may be worth as much as $95 million, the New York Times reports.We’re not sure why the paper included Cashmore on a list of bachelors, since he’s been dating Lisa Bettany, the cocreator of the popular Camera+ iPhone app, for a while now.

But the grey Lady is right on this account: Cashmore’s a hot property—for media companies. He owns most of Mashable, having never taken outside investment and given relatively skimpy amounts of equity to employees. AOL and CNN have pursued him over the years.

So yes, if you are a major media company, woo away!
