Founder of the financial news site MarketWatch, Larry Kramer sold his company to Dow Jones in 2005. Since then it has been taken over by Rupert Murdoch.
While it’s a valuable part of the the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, the site has been taken in some directions Kramer himself may not have gone with it.
In an interview about the future of publishing at our IGNITION conference, Kramer, who is now publisher of USA Today, told us what he thought about the direction the company has gone and what he felt its potential was when he sold it.
