Randi Zuckerberg is leaving Facebook to start her own company, RtoZ Media.

AllThingsD has printed her resignation letter.  It explains her desire to become an entrepreneur.

“Now is the perfect time for me to move outside of Facebook to build a company focused on the exciting trends underway in the media industry,” she writes.

Zuckerberg has been out on maternity leave the past few months; she likely used the time away to reflect on her own goals.

RtoZ will be a social media firm, and Randy plans to thoroughly utilise Facebook to make her startup a success. For more on Randi’s resignation, head over to All Things D >>

As an aside, Randi is a woman of many talents and she’s a pretty awesome singer.
