Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is at the top of the list of potential Republican Vice Presidential nominees — but he just took his name out of the running.Speaking at The Atlantic’s Washington Ideas Forum, Rubio offered a Shermanesque statement, saying “I’m not going to be the Vice Presidential nominee. The answer is going to be no.”
Despite Rubio’s denial, don’t expect the speculation to go away anytime soon.
A ticket including Rubio would undoubtedly take Florida — and make a major dent in the Democratic Party’s hold over Hispanic voters.
