The Trade Data Sure Looks Like A "V"

The latest trade deficit numbers came out this morning from the Census Bureau (.pdf), and though the trade deficit is frequently demonized in the US, it is one of the best barometers of global economic activity. For March, the $40.4 billion deficit compares to deficit of $39.4 billion.
